Glen Rose, TX- Spring Break

On a trip to Glen Rose today with Mom and Dad, we drove past this interesting looking place. We were in awe at how odd and fun this looked. When we finished shopping in the cute, friendly town of Glen Rose, we stopped here to get a closer look at what this might be… Not a national park, no information….and the science teacher in me was wondering what this is…. So we hung out and climbed a bit on the rocks to get closer looks and when I got home, I tried to google up some facts. So I couldn’t find much information for you about the park. It is in Glen Rose, Texas. Many locals visit here but not many out-of-towners. Not a single link or website talked about what type of rocks these are. The only science I could find about the rocks was that the river flowing by the park eroded the rocks to what they are today. But the park is pretty cool. I definately enjoyed climbing up and around. Might visit it again if I head that way.

Can you identify what type of rocks these are?
